What is the Return Policy?

We guarantee total customer satisfaction.If you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase, you may return unused merchandise within 14 days of the original shipped date for a prompt refund.You will be refunded for the merchandise total, plus applicable sales tax paid. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable unless product arrives damaged or the incorrect product was shipped. Please allow up to 7 business days for us to process your return. 


What is the Return Policy for damaged merchandise?

If the customer received damaged merchandise, and it was damaged during shipping, most of the shippers will be responsible for the damage. We will make every possible effort to help along to assure the customer gets full refund or replacement product. If the item was damaged by the consumer during use we can try to work with the manufacturer.  Upon receipt of the item, we shall return it to manufacturer for final determination. In cases where the manufacturer has determined that the goods were damaged due to customer error, no replacements will be made. Should it be determined that the product is a manufacturer's defect, it will be replaced only. No refunds or exchanges will be given for any reason. In the event the customer requires an immediate replacement prior to the manufacturer's determination, we will ship out and bill customer for the new item until the final determination is made by the manufacturer.

Will my order be a subject to sales tax?


We must collect sales taxes for all orders shipped to New York ( 8.875%) and New Jersey( 7% ) . Taxes will only be applied to the taxable merchandise. Please refer to the NY and NJ sales tax guidelines to learn more about taxable categories. All orders for other states are not subject to sales tax at this time. This may change with any changes in taxation laws. 

Are there any restocking fees applied to the return of an order?

No. We do not charge a restocking fee for returned orders.


Does the Downtown Pharmacy Online Store allows bulk purchases and is there any discount?

Yes, we allow bulk orders, however it may take a little longer to process such orders. Time to time we will be able to offer additional discount for items purchased in large quantities. Please contact us for more information.

How are your products stocked and what does it mean when a product is on order?


We carry most of the items we advertise. However in some instances we might be out of stock. Downtown Pharmacy currently receiving orders from the major wholesalers 3 times a day. I most cases requested item can be ordered for the same or next day delivery to our warehouse and be shipped or picked up from the retail store immediately after that. Some of the specialty items may require additional time to be shipped to our location . Unfortunately, we are unable to provide exact arrival dates for specific items, but will keep customers informed about the progress.


Do you protect private Information?

 We protect all of your information against unauthorized access or release. We will not share your personal information with third parties.

Your privacy is very important to us. Be assured that, in accordance with this privacy policy, we do not sell or distribute our customer list to third parties. You should be aware, however, that unscrupulous marketers can sometimes "harvest" your e-mail address directly from your computer or another person's address book or even obtain your e-mail address through programs that automatically search web pages and e-mail traffic for e-mail addresses. If you receive an unsolicited e-mail that you believe is connected with us in any way, please forward the e-mail (as an attachment) to us and we will investigate.
